For over a decade, Adobe put "(Legacy)" after "Save for Web..." in Photoshop because they were trying to make "Export As..." happen. Now they've finally caved, and even given Save for Web a nice update.

This stopped me in my tracks. An independent study by @qmul.bsky.social has found that after ULEZ was introduced, children’s lungs grew faster in Central London and have now caught up with children outside of the capital. Incredible.

Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke says “good system.” In response to the following proposal:

“Interesting... what about weighted voting proportional to the level of income tax you pay? (no income tax paid - O vote, $1-100k - 1 vote, $100-200k 2 votes and so on... cap it at 5 votes for $500k+. For those that constantly complain about the wealthy not paying tax/fair share they'd have nothing to worry about right? Why not reward representation of taxation and build a democracy around those that foot the bill?”

When I was a kid, my mum had an apron with the slogan "I have been made redundant by a chip," with a picture of a chip (French fry). This was funny because "silicon chips" were the disruptive tech of the day. In reality, the only people chips made redundant were those who failed to adopt them.
