The only way i use ai, the only way i ever have, is Never. Every single use of ai is "do this thing for me". Sometimes with a ritual charade of potemkin competence which does little more than assure it's user that they aren't doing exactly what they are, but it's all cognitive surrender regardless.

Using ai in any capacity whatsoever is itself an act of cognitive surrender. "Do this thing for me." Using it erodes the user's intelligence and creativity, regardless of any ritual charade they perform when using it. It's death by inches.

Wrong. Cognitive Surrender abdicates understanding, and forgoes an essential part of the understanding process. I have watched competent colleagues become incompetent sloppers over the course of months, not years. The typing is not the hard part. There is no such thing as competent use of ai.

Wrong. The writing itself, the design, the structuring, the intent, are all integral to forming and retaining understanding. Software outsourcing has existed for decades, and the problems with it were never the speed of delivery. There is no such thing as competent use of ai.

There is no such thing as competent use of an ai, nor is there such a thing as a competent model. Competence necessitates consideration and understanding, and any process involving a regurgitator is absent of any by it's very nature. The typing is not the hard part of programming.

The only thing that gdpr cookie law really accomplished was make every website ever annoy you with a cookie popup that dark patterns you into clicking accept anyway. Half measures are about as good as half an ass - nobody's happy and shit gets everywhere.
