A vital piece of trans allyship is actually in supporting children's rights to bodily autonomy from the out. Someone is complaining their child wants to cut their hair short or grow it long? Point out that it's the child's hair. Why shouldn't they have it how they want it? Why is that parent upset?

First July 1 up north in more than a decade. Went to multiple #CancelCanadaDay events and met some great people and got to know a few more fantastic organizations. Also bought some amazing things and ate delicious food.

Our culture has such a reliance on art, mixed with so much disdain for artists' lives. Someone throws soup at a painting in a gallery or whatever and everyone acts like it's a literal murder, but that level of sympathy is for the object, almost never for the living conditions of artists.
