Less than 1% of the membership voted for it, many of those online, and yet somehow it is now Green party policy? AFAIK all the party leaders and MPs opposed this motion which was forced through by a tiny number of new members. The Greens need to sort out their policy making mechanism ASAP.

It doesn't appear to be a hard no to new nuclear, it appears to allow support for new nuclear on a case-by-case basis. Is that what was agreed?

“Zionism is racism” is not a policy but a slogan. It compresses a complex history, going back millennia, and a very wide set of beliefs into one narrow meaning. The answer to genocide is not discrimination. We don't fight racism with racism. I’m gutted to see this motion adopted by the Green Party.

The problem is that less than 1% of the membership (a tiny 1,022 people), is able to decide policy. This process surely is not fit for purpose, and it's not really democratic.

That is the real question, and failing to address the question of our national capacity to transition and transform, while asking the question "how can we afford it", is a pernicious form of climate denial / delay.
