This week Natural England said salmon stocks in England have fallen to their lowest level since records began. 95% of the main salmon rivers don’t have enough fish to sustain their populations. Tomorrow we'll show the salmon some love and talk about their plight at the amazing Exe Salmon Run.

Yesterday my local park, Mincinglake, caught fire. 50 acres burned, uncountable butterflies, moths & voles perished, & the fire came dangerously close to people's homes. Eunice Foote was the first person to establish, through experiments, that altering the proportion of CO2 in the atmosphere would change the Earth’s temperature. As a mere woman she was not allowed to present her work at the relevant academic body. Her paper had to be read out by a man.
