Saw this in London, and I love it. The bike hanger securely stores six bikes, using a single curbside parking spot. Huge help for those who can’t keep a bike in their home!

Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

Are you employed? Financially ok and have the day off today? Consider donating your day's wages to an Indigenous organization. I've been doing it ever since I heard the idea 6 years ago. A tangible way of "Taking Truth to Action" and making a long term impact. I donated here: bentarrow.ca #TRC
Image shows the email confirmation from Bent Arrow Healing Society after making a donation, which says. "Dear Giselle, Thank you for your donation to Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society. Your generosity helps us continue our work in supporting Indigenous children, youth, and families and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Your donation and tax receipt details are included below for your records. Hiy Hiy"

Being the husband's e-bike passenger princess continues to be amazing! 1.5 hour ride exploring neighbourhoods, using service roads, share use paths, trails and major roads depending on what's safe. And I think I'm high-vis enough! 🤭 #yegBike

Yesterday my Father in law said he saw a yellow Edmonton police car. I didn't even know that was a thing before! It's charming when I learn about old tidbits of the city's history like that. And I know I'll be sharing that lore too, like the dragon at the WEM movie theater.

A gift (which is a small backpack) wrapped in a blue scarf (instead of wrapping paper) and tied with a gold ribbon. An envelope was pinned onto the fabric with a note for the recipient.

The measles outbreak is finally over in Alberta. We've gone 42 days without new infections. Still the most cases since routine vaccination began in the 90s. Not surprising, 90% of infections were unimmunized. Disappointing to see so many folks who are old enough to be vaccinated getting sick.
Screenshot of Alberta's weekly reporting of measles cases since March 2025 with zero cases since the week of May 24.Screenshot of Alberta's measles case tracking, with zero cases currently reported or known to be communicable.Screenshot of immunization status for Alberta's measles cases, with yellow highlights I've added to show 90% of infections this year and last were people who are unimmunized.Screenshot of Alberta's measles info on geographic location and age group for people getting sick. I've circled age groups 5-17, 18-54 and 55+ as they should all be vaccinated and have some immunity. The majority of infections - 70% - is for people aged 5-54.
