If you're unsure if VP counts as art -- it absolutely does. It's a skill; it takes time & effort to learn those tools. It's posing, & lighting, & composition, & so much editing & tweaking & reworking, & love & care for the subject matter. Just as photography is an art, so is virtual photography.

Digital art of a knight clad in black and gold armour. They hoist a pride flag in one hand and wield a sword in the other. They are stepping onto the fallen body of an angel in front of a crumbling gothic arch. Overlaid in red is the text "FIX YOUR HEARTS OR DIE"

Everything dies, everything blooms again. Everything breaks, everything mends anew. Everything is lost, everything finds itself again, forever. ✦ #art

The image shows a satyr girl, her right hand raised high to her forehead, while her left hand reveals a scar on her abdomen. She wears a light white dress with a deep neckline, decorated with blue elements, ribbons, and tassels. Behind her, a floral motif unfolds, from a bud to a blooming rose. Her face is calm and confident, with red curly hair and curled horns

Mainstream Respectable opinion is that people joking about a bad person's death represents a culture of cruelty, but really it represents a culture of impunity. It's a coping mechanism for watching someone do evil their whole life and never seeing consequences

question for fellow #fanfic writers: is it rude for someone to leave a comment on your slash fic, discussing their preference for a different slash pairing in the same fandom? For example, if the fic you wrote is A/B, and the commenter says, "I actually prefer B/C," is that a breach of etiquette?

I encountered my first gen-AI fic on AO3 recently (untagged, so I am just speculating; however, all the tells were there and the author chose to moderate comments, which is a tell in itself IMO) and went to check for their policy on Gen-AI content. This is some fuckin bullshit man 😭

Playstation, Xbox, and Epic Games send themselves back to the lobby with baffling business decisions, while Steam is executed by AI tech giants. Nintendo sits in the middle, confused and contemplating how it will live up to Playstation and Xbox's legendary failures.

backrooms x nge #art

Drawing of Clark backrooms in the Shinji chair. Above him are three panels of a couch progressively becoming misremembered like in the movie, surrounded in blue tape. The final panel is in a window, which connects to the walls. There’s eyes in blue ink and low resolution b&w drawings. The very bottom is a snapshot of a blue, cloudy sky, with some distortion, a border of blue tape. Inside is a seagull with blue, distorted line art and a white color layer offset just a bit.

i need them to let the young re engine chris out of the basement; i really wanna draw more accurate fanart of these two #residentevil

full-body digital drawing of claire redfield holding a gun. she’s wearing her red jacket. chris is also there, but while claire looks like a human, he’s just a dark shadow behind her back, with a question mark where his face should be. i’m planning on finishing this drawing after capcom (eventually) shows him in the next veronica trailer🫡

"Tupac's estate" is not run by his family. It's run by some greedy corporate demon who seized it after his mother's death. In fact, his sister, who SHOULD be the owner/executor/etc of the estate, has apparently been trying to sue him for embezzlement. So "approved by his estate" is just PR bullshit

News article with a headline stating "Tupac Shakur's sister sues executor of rapper's estate for embezzlement. Sekyiwa Shakur alleges that Tom Whalley "unreasonably enriched himself" with $5.5 million from record label founded by Tupac's late mother Afeni"
