This applies to LA electeds, especially City wide (Mayor, Controller, City Attorney) and legislative leaders (City Council President). The immigration courts + ICE jail in downtown LA are across the street from LA City Hall. Apart from photo-op rallies, there hasn't been a lot of showing up.

The Ambassador of Mexico went to the Board of Police Commissioners meeting at LAPDHQ this morning. He made public comment asking for LAPD's help with the ICE kidnappings as folks can't go to school or to the doctor. We are in the upside down. LA is no sanctuary city despite what its leaders say!
