#MountainMonday Saddlebag Lake and Sierra backdrop make it hard to leave. Sadly, wildfire smoke drifted over most of the trip. I tried to dehaze this photo. 🤷‍♀️

From the Summit Trail in Great Basin National Park at dawn. There are distant mountains, a hiking path bordered by a dry meadow, and conifer trees.

Wheeler Peak (called Too-bur-rit in Shoshone) on the right with an impressive headwall above a large glacial cirque, large moraines and an active rock glacier.

On the left, Doso Doyabi stands about one mile to the east of Wheeler and reaches 12,775 feet (3,894 m). Doso Doyabi means White Mountain in Shoshone.

A brightly coloured mural painted onto the whole side of the Garrick Theatre building yesterday in Stockport.
The catoon style mural by Captain Kris is titled 'Behind The Curtain' and depicts the unseen world of the theatre.
The artwork shows different rooms in the theatre such a dressing rooms, workshops, costume areas , rehearsal rooms with a central stage are. The whole mural has lots of wonderful characters that make up the theatre and a scene showing an audience watching the show.
