What's happening here? Maybe something changed part way through 2023 on urban/residential 30mph roads! I wonder if it could be that from Sep 17th 2023 95% of roads with a 30mph limit were changed to 20mph. #20splenty making your place an even better, safer, quieter, fairer place to be!

Placed an order with a large national company that was dispatched in two separate packages. Both had identical address labels on Evri successfully delivered one package to my house in Newport, South Wales and the other to a depot in Newport Pagnell where they realised their f-up 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nah I think it's just that Railtrack (or whatever the track ownership body is called these days) don't want (for example) London/ Swansea trains leaving at midnight or later as they'd have to reschedule regular overnight work. It's a myopic POV.

The problem with the late night trains is that TfW would probably do it like a shot - but (Valleys lines aside) they don’t control the track infrastructure so they’ll get told no cos of overnight maintenance

A French study into gig economy sector saw 64% of riders were undocumented. The delivery apps cannot say they are unaware & are proactively managing the situation. Without exploitation, their model collapses. Maybe it should. That said, these people want to work; letting them is good for economy.

That's the thing, most people don't. If you run a property it's really hard to say publicly "We're getting rinsed for fees by the booking engines 'cos they've got an effective monopoly" 'cos they can just de-list you & effectively kill your business. Now I'm out of it, I'm happy to discuss
