The FBI Director is supposed to be a law enforcement official, not a political hatchetman. One’s term is 10 years—2.5 presidential terms—to avoid partisanship or even the appearance thereof. I know Americans chose to throw that away, but still worth noting this is unprecedented and wildly corrupt.

We volunteered at a local nonprofit health provider who concetraits on Inclusive Health Care. So many with so little and I fear the demand will be greater in the not too distant future. All cares were replaced with smiles, friendship, and full bellies. And for this I am truly grateful.

Today was weird. I woke to “not really wanting to get out of bed”; hovered there but made it to the sofa, whereupon I fell back to sleep another hour. Then the anxiety set in. By noon I was able to move it outside, after a shower, to go to the grocer. By the time I got home I felt pretty good. 1(2)
