Keith Haring died of AIDS aged 31 on 16 Feb 1990. One of his last works, Unfinished Painting, was deliberately incomplete, reflecting the devastating, unquantifiable loss to the arts due to AIDS. #LGBTplusHistoryMonth

I have lived through it also. I was diagnosed in 1989, told to get my things in order, and hope for the recently approved AZT to benefit me. By that time I had lost more than half my friends and stopped going to memorials. Some how 35 years later, I was fortunate to make it through.

The FBI Director is supposed to be a law enforcement official, not a political hatchetman. One’s term is 10 years—2.5 presidential terms—to avoid partisanship or even the appearance thereof. I know Americans chose to throw that away, but still worth noting this is unprecedented and wildly corrupt.
