That's a good idea! My way around it, which is admittedly far more expensive and inconvenient, is to bring back bottles of 500/1,000 with me from the US whenever I go. Your way is definitely better, because inevitably 80% of what I bring back just goes past the expiry date unused.

Yup. And, irritatingly, because I have Unknown Caller Screening turned on, which asks who is calling etc. before showing their answer to me so I can decide whether to pick up... that probably counts to the scammers as someone answering the phone, so it won't be marked as dead.

Yeah, the original 5p/10p charge was supposed to go to charity IIRC (presumably eco charities) but I wonder how much of the higher charges goes to them and how much they just keep as profit.

Broseley's the kind of place where everyone knows each other and you're considered an "outsider" unless there's seventeen generations of your family history there, basically. Whereas a lot of the folks in Shrewsbury are too far up their own arse and have ideas waaaaaaaaay above their station 😆

I can definitely relate. I had a professional photo taken of me for my employer-at-the-time's profile page about me on their website. The photographer failed to mention that I looked *awkward as fuck* and also looked like I simultaneously had a broken leg and half-side dwarfism.

This is normal! Posing for photos is unnatural to almost everyone so expressions are forced, body language is defensive and it just makes for an awful time for all. Candid photos are *so* much better because it captures the *real* person. Wedding photos are always better when they're candid!

But when I turned it on to try it out, it was such an initial shock to my system that I just reflexively went straight back and turned it off. Fuck that. Nothing wrong with a bit of colour in the world!

I suppose that's the irony in my case, in that I keep my home screen meticulous -- I only have one page of apps, with a few folders on it. I know where everything is almost by muscle memory, so tinted icons probably wouldn't impact me in the slightest once I got used to it.
