I didn’t encourage the dogs to attack, but I also wasn’t going to put my body in the middle to stop them either.

I grabbed a 2x4 to help “encourage” the big one to exit the coop. As I push it out, it runs directly into the face of the dogs. A fight ensued resulting in happy dogs and a dead raccoon. Surprisingly, once it was dead I was able to tell them to drop it and they did. The second one made tracks.

animal. I go get my shoes on and head out and see my wife in the middle of the yard walking towards the chicken coop. I turn on my flashlight and walk the same direction. When we get there there’s a medium trash panda on the outside of the coop, an another large one on the inside.

They only work “well” when there’s moderate traffic on a moderate day with no weather or construction. So not at all. There used to be a stretch in Anniston Al that was a few miles long. The speed limit was 35 and if you drove 42, you could clear all of them without stopping.

@smartbunny.bsky.social I think it’s because we rented movies at a store. And depending on if parents had seen the commercials for it, you could convince them that it was fine. Or, there were also the parents who just didn’t care and let kids watch what they wanted.

If it’s on a concrete floor, consider getting an anti fatigue mat to stand on. There are some small inexpensive foam ones, they work fine. Standing on concrete all day can be brutal on your feet, knees, hips, etc

That solves a few problems. What does your banner behind your booth look like? Use as few words as possible to say what you are selling and then a big image or two.

Play it by ear on how much stuff to display. Sometimes people want options and sometimes the options are overwhelming. It’s ok to set up your display and still keep some art in reserve. If you put it all out and sell some you’ll have to rearrange the display anyway.

Are better than “good morning/afternoon” Inexpensive options like your stickers are good options to draw people in. Once they decide that they will open their wallet, it’s easier for them to mentally bundle more stuff in. Always be standing and talking. If it’s slow set up to make a painting.

I’m assuming it’s outside. If so plan how to anchor your tent. On a calm day, it’s not necessary, but a little wind can be bad. Plan what you want to say to draw in potential customers. “What brings you to the market today?” Or “is there something specific that you are looking for?” Are you……..
