Pork belly on the way everyone.

One of the reasons I remember the episode on the plane is it's one of the few episodes where he DOESN'T know the language and can't communicate with the patient (except to ask for sex, naturally).

My brain itched a bit upon seeing this (well done).

000

Had to take the difficulty down to easy mode, I think my brain just cannot keep track of the larger enemy combos that AREN'T highlighted for parrying (but still need parrying) whilst a dozen of his smaller mouth breathing brothers are nipping at my shins.

100

So far I think I've spent more time in the controls menu trying to make playing this game not a pain in the arse, the default mouse and keyboard controls were just cluttered/confusing.

100

Third time trying to "get on" with Space Marine 2, and the Hive Mind/Tyranids just aren't as fun to fight as the drunken football Ork cockney mobs the first game had.

100

"You treated the Baywatch chick!?" "No, the Baywatch THESPIAN." That exchange lives rent free in my head for some reason.

010

I occasionally put the "three stories" episode on for stuff like that. Also, shout-out to the moment House mocks Cameron, only for the camera to suddenly pan to Cameron going "I'm in the room!"

13 was responsible for the death of a patient AND their service dog. "AWFUL", etc.

001

I distinctly remember a scene in season 5/6 (I think) where Cuddy describes to Wilson what would happen if she and House dated, specifically how badly it would end for them both, and then later when they are together it goes pretty much exactly how she said it would.

A joke? "This vexes me", etc.

Picture of Omar Epps as Dr Eric Foreman in House, M.D. with a "LIVE FOREMAN REACTION" label at the top. He is looking vexed.

Can all but guarantee you it's not just asylum seekers they think this should apply to.

Made the mistake of going to the York food festival twice this time, AND a cinema outing at the metrocentre, so it's cheese toasties until payday.

I saw a terrier at a train station earlier today, and judging by their wagging tail and excited face they were having the best day ever.

Today brings further nuggets of GC delusions 'gold'. Peggie has been on paid leave since March 2025. Its about to run out and she is using this as some sort of terrible affliction of threat of poverty.

Watched a three year old episode of Have I Got News For You last night and I was reminded how furious people got at climate activists for throwing orange dust on things. I just feel sending rape and death threats to the RNLI is worthy of more fury than that.

Fair play for trying, I don't think I could. In my head, I'd get as far the midpoint of the second game, where a small child gets incest tentacle fiddled by her mutant dad and I'd just trail off into silence.

That, and the plots in most Resident Evil games are a bunch of contrived nonsense anyway.

FrozenLuffy @frozenluffy.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Speaking as a Resident Evil fan, I was sold on the movie the second I found out it WASN'T going to be a retelling of the game's plot. IMAX viewing for me tomorrow! If nothing else, I don't want to sit down and know what's going to happen ahead of time.

I understand some Resident Evil fans were disappointed who wanted to see their favorite wiki articles come to life.

Didn't even HAVE to mask as a kid. No need to when you've got one parent who barely takes an interest in you (or anything that isn't football/watching TV) and another who, understandably, is too busy making sure the house didn't collapse because the other was too bone idle to bother. FANTASTIC.

There's even a TRAINING MONTAGE, where you, the player, go from doing a lap in an Aston Martin, to kicking a guys head in, then you seemingly do a faster lap in the same track with the same Aston Martin. There's even a Q labs bit where you basically, "fuck around". Wonderful stuff.

@xtasbe.bsky.social I haven't reached this point in the 007 game yet, but apparently this kicks in at some point. One for the fans, I believe. youtu.be/HH4zZ51I6ds?...
