One of the many problems with cops and ICE agents who were too dumb to be hired as cops is that while some people want the job because it gives good benefits and an early pension, a lot want the job because they fantasize about doing violence to people and being a cop gives them that opportunity.

Those who exile defenseless children from the USA are not the good guys. This generational evil will haunt us for decades.
A screenshot of an X.com post on a white background. At the top, Katie Rogers’s profile name and handle appear beside a circular profile photo, with the X.com logo in the upper-right corner. The post quotes a judge asking whether to request voluntary departure or issue a removal order, followed by a description of 13-year-old Angel crying and saying, “I have no one. I have nothing.”

Below, an embedded post by Priscilla Alvarez describes a Texas courtroom scene involving 25 migrant children and includes a hand-drawn courtroom sketch. The sketch shows a judge seated behind a raised bench between two monitors, with a U.S. flag to the left. In the foreground, several people sit in rows of reddish upholstered chairs facing the judge; microphones are positioned near some of the seated figures. The drawing uses muted gray, tan, blue, red, and brown colors. A small handwritten label near the lower-left portion of the sketch reads “DAVID DE LEON.

“Would you like to request voluntary departure, or should I issue a removal order?” The judge asked.

“I don’t know,” Angel, 13, replied before bursting into tears. He stared ahead stoically and continued to cry, eventually saying: “I have no one. I have nothing.”

NEW: In a Texas courtroom Monday, 25 migrant children lined the pews — a 9yo rested her head on the table, a 6yo pretended to fly an airplane, and a 3yo played with the mic. Many in attendance didn't have an attorney — and a 13yo was ordered removed. A look inside, thru sketches.

In July, a new ICE agent with a history of domestic violence and mental illness killed a man in Maine who even ICE admits posed no threat to him. Now we know that internal whistleblowers at ICE were sounding the alarm about the agency utterly disregarding normal hiring rules.
In the wake of a hiring surge last summer, an official in charge of evaluating new recruits to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued a dire warning.

The Trump administration, he wrote in a memo, was cutting corners, violating the law and fast-tracking unqualified, “improperly vetted” candidates into ICE’s ranks, part of a dangerous move that exposed the agency — and its law enforcement operations — to “grave national security risks.”

Citing an “unprecedented lowering of standards,” the career ICE official said that “systemic breakdowns” had allowed applicants to receive job offers before they had passed basic fingerprint, identity or credit checks in a preliminary vetting process. Political appointees had unjustly skirted background investigations and received national security eligibility.
