do we like poetry #poetsky

Her Wool, My Eyes

blanket of twinkling heat
draping over a spinning world
like drowsy animals of the street

and may your hands come near bruising me
like how the sun’s ferocity brings color

there is no one to tell this
that it’s all coming down

(her words stick to the pavement
and come up on my shoes)

then with your arms shield my eyes
and the house of cards clattering
is quieted by your kiss

Warm up scribble for the most important time of year (Fat Bear Week)

Photo of an open sketchbook on a desk with a scribbly illustration of Bear 131 from Fat Bear Week. The illustration is drawn in coloured pencil and neocolour 1 & neocolour 2 wax pastels, some of which were diluted to make blue background and shadows. Bear 131 is drawn left of centre, and to the upper right "FAT BEAR WEEK" is written, with Bear 131 written underneath.

Sexy pinup mermaid Ed flirting hard with the viewer, posing half way in the ocean. Big fuck me eyes while eating a leg. The lighting is dim as if you were alone on a walk on the beach and raised your lantern when you realized there was some kind of big animal out there in the dark with you.

doing something new to me this kinktober and writing edizzy, and im having soooo much fun w it!!! (labelled as graphic for blood and physical violence -- it's paralleling s1e10 toe scene, for the vibes check 🙏)

A warm trickle of liquid drips over the ball of his foot. He knows he's stiffening in his smallclothes, adrenaline and fear and proximity to Edward all forming a heady, irresistible fog. He's still laughing. There are tears pricking the corners of his eyes. “That's it. That's it, Eddie. You liked it, didn't you? Last time. You liked taking my toe. You liked making me eat it.”

He's quiet. “You deserved it.”

The blades dig deeper, blood gushing now, blinding pain. It isn't quick like last time. Sliver by sliver, the metal forces its way through skin and tissue. Izzy can't form words, so he nods instead, tight and sharp, tears tracking down his cheeks.

The toe is still attached, but mangled, crimson smeared on silver.

Porn and art with sexual themes deserve to exist on their own merit, not because censoring them has knock-on effects for non-sexual content. Please stop expressing outrage by implying that censorship would be okay if it *just* affected sex workers and artists engaging with sexual themes.

Several people in suits reach towards a man with glasses sitting at a table, holding a microphone. The latter speaks into the microphone, while the former attempt to stop him.

e 'l mondo ardea, come fussi una torcia florence_after_midnight
Summary:
Lorenzo spends his days working through a heatwave. Giuliano proposes a trip to Careggi instead.
Giuliano lets a smile spread over his face, sly and self-assured, the sort that has all the best painters of the city begging him for a chance to paint his portrait. "Who knows. Maybe I'll even drop to my knees for you in the carriage once we're past-" Lorenzo slaps his hand across Giuliano's mouth, muffling the rest of the sentence against his palm.
"Be quiet, for God's sake," he orders. "The servants might hear."
Giuliano extracts himself from his brother's grip, a weary smirk on his lips. "I thought you'd sent them all home?"
