Realised partway into listening to "I Got The..." by Labi Siffre that it was the sample source for Eminem's "My Name Is" and also that i don't know enough of my name is from memory so I just started doing the dog of wisdom voice in time to the music and that really enhanced my mental state i think

I find this stuff fascinating; this is basically the animation world's equivalent of how pixel art games were designed to be played on glass tube TVs. The "imperfections" created in the process of publishing the work are part of the planned end product.

Images passed through calcite are doubled. This phenomenon, called double refraction, is more than just a neat visual. In the 1600s, Huygens used calcite to support his wave theory of light by concluding that when light strikes calcite, it triggers two types of waves: spherical and elliptical.
