It would read and write as expected in the programmer but would NOT work in-circuit. It doesn’t know about SAM’s screen or keyboard (etc) so communication is over serial. (It’s easy enough to output some text to the LCD though) 0132

Fundamentally it’s just pointers to an input routine and an output routine. One byte at a time, but you can do what you want with it. It’s how many proportional font routines work, for example. 150
