My current ick is seeing people in the arts use AI for posters/anything at all. I don’t care if you’re a kids choir or a small amateur dramatics group, make your own poster, make it part of *your* art and, crucially, not the same as every other death/agreement machine creation.

Just because I happen to have dug them out of the drawer: my removable media timeline. I used 5.25" disks as a child, but these are the things that were mine, upgrading through time. (Floppy just an example, but it might be one of my first box of ten - I found it *in* that box anyway 😄)

It's #NationalTeletextDay once again, so it's time to do my duty (or should it be duvet)

A double bed with a duvet on top of it. The duvet has a page from Ceefax printed on it with text as follows:

Most of the text is white on a blue background, with CEEFAX and The BBC's teletext service in yellow.

There are also two plain white pillows at the top of the bed, with a cuddly dragon sat between then. A pair of bedside tables sit either side of the bed with various things placed on them such as alarm clocks and telephones.

all the people spending all the day assembling equipment and going on expeditions up hills etc. I've just stuck pin through a random bit of notepaper without leaving my chair and grabbed a couple of floppy discs from the shelf which admittedly did involve standing up 😄
