Meeting mates for a couple of early pints . Did a pretty great job on my hair . Put setting lotion on it , then twisted each section of hair before then wrapping it around a foam roller (1 inch diameter underneath,2 inch on top ) left them in all day, then scrunched in some wax after removing .

Lost all desire to do anything creative lately . I just made myself start some sketching, but the most I've managed is 20 minutes. And that was on my iPad , because I couldn't face getting any art supplies out. Definitely having a bit of a slump.

Just had the 4th engineer out over my years of living in my flat , to say they can't install broadband after a company provider swore they could over the phone. I was getting it from an antenna , but the tall buildings going up put paid to that 5 weeks ago. Back to hotspoting the TV off my phone.

On @kermodeandmayo.bsky.social they briefly discussed loo breaks in the Cinema. My tip for no pee breaks in films that last over 2 and a half hours, is to go on the lash the night before and let dehydration take care of your need to pee during the film. I appreciate this may not be the wisest tip !

My colleague that never closes their mouth when they eat and has no problem talking with a mouth full of food has now taken up chewing gum. So anytime they talk to me at all now, I get the full aural and visual hit of their mastication. It is no longer only restricted to lunch break.

Just watched The End Of Oak Street. Tis very silly, a big budget B Movie with some janky looking dinosaurs ( v mush looking forward to some paleontologist breakdown videos ) and extremely flawed plans all over the shop - greatly enjoyed it with a bottle of wine .

My latest Vinted buy . An Alexander McQueen skull scarf. Retails at €350. I got it for €30. It has all the correct labels etc. So have now set myself a mission to snag an Hermes scarf for under €50 (they range from €500 to €800 new ). I feel my collection of scarves will be complete then

So we had no power to half our plug sockets in work yesterday. The switchboard was inspected by the busybody, the supervisor and the big boss, they couldn't see anything wrong. An electrician was due in today. The supervisor realised this morning the power switch was off. 😆😆😆
