Booked a COVID vaccine for Friday in Boots , then rang my doc for a flu shot as my B12 is due and might as well save time and get them done together, but there is a shortage apparently,told to ring back in a week or two. Hopefully my propensity for catching chest based lurgy will hold off till then!

I don't make macaroni cheese often, but I like to do a thorough job when I do. So this one has gruyère as well as vintage cheddar, some cherry vine tomatoes, and I added a bit of mustard powder and smoked paprika to the flour for the roux

It's seen as reasonable to spend lots of money as wedding guests over and over again because they'll get you back when it's your turn, but for a lot of us it may never be "our turn" and asking people to contribute instead to our gingerbread cottage oven fund is "weird" and "scaring the children" 🙄

If you are not leaving the house , using settling lotion on rollers is by far the best way to curl your hair. Lasts way longer than mousse and doesn't weigh your hair down . I use Lottabody. As you dilute it for use , 1 bottle lasts me a couple of years.

Meeting mates for a couple of early pints . Did a pretty great job on my hair . Put setting lotion on it , then twisted each section of hair before then wrapping it around a foam roller (1 inch diameter underneath,2 inch on top ) left them in all day, then scrunched in some wax after removing .

Me with fairly tousled, chin length wavy hair . I have ott purple eye makeup to match my t shirt

Lost all desire to do anything creative lately . I just made myself start some sketching, but the most I've managed is 20 minutes. And that was on my iPad , because I couldn't face getting any art supplies out. Definitely having a bit of a slump.

Just had the 4th engineer out over my years of living in my flat , to say they can't install broadband after a company provider swore they could over the phone. I was getting it from an antenna , but the tall buildings going up put paid to that 5 weeks ago. Back to hotspoting the TV off my phone.

My tip for no pee breaks in films that last over 2 and a half hours, is to go on the lash the night before and let dehydration take care of your need to pee during the film. I appreciate this may not be the wisest tip !

My colleague that never closes their mouth when they eat and has no problem talking with a mouth full of food has now taken up chewing gum. So anytime they talk to me at all now, I get the full aural and visual hit of their mastication. It is no longer only restricted to lunch break.

Just watched The End Of Oak Street. Tis very silly, a big budget B Movie with some janky looking dinosaurs ( v mush looking forward to some paleontologist breakdown videos ) and extremely flawed plans all over the shop - greatly enjoyed it with a bottle of wine .
