A little unexpected shake-up in Tacoma today! During today’s 4.2 magnitude earthquake, some of our aquarium animals were briefly startled, but everyone is safe and doing well. Most guests and staff didn’t feel the earthquake at all.

This was within my lifetime and I’m only 37! Rights are not guaranteed in a country built on the back of bigotry and all of us queers are on a constant knife’s edge.
