Aletris was 12 and bit a boy's nose off and her mother went 'OK time to give you a better outlet for THAT' (super short version).

Ok here’s my XIV Write wrap up! #XIVWrite #XIVWrite2026 I wrote about Tora more than anyone else, but I decided to separate entries about her youth from her adulthood. She had 12 total, 13 if you count the AU. Jacek featured in most of her stories, but there was only one where he was the focus.

Completed entries showing the month as a calendar with Sunday start. The days I completed were 1,2,3,4,5,9,10,11,12,15,17,18,21,22,24,25,28,29,30
The data is on a lavender colored square with “XIV WRITE 2026” in a small purple rectangle at the bottom. Behind the square is a tinted image of a medieval style manuscript

And on top of everything else WIP Wednesday

She wanted to pick up some eel and make a good pot pie stew with all those vegetables they'd gotten from the Sylphs - it was hard to get a stew wrong. Her mother had always managed, at least according to the recipe scribbled between proper installments about her adventures away from her children.

It felt like she'd been gone longer now that she was away in those places herself.

The Things She Cannot Remember

They didn't have the same face, but she could see him in it. The eyes were different - she knew that immediately. But her heart aches in those gaps where it feels him, where it tries to remember something that is only outline, the light around a dark shape that bleeds out like ink into the water of memory.

Warrior of Darkness - a cruel joke, a mockery, an opposition of her Warrior of Light. Of his Warrior of Light. Asteria can almost taste his name on the back of her throat.

Jasper's In Trouble (?)

A photo of a store sign that says 'THE PERFECT GIFT'. Underneath it says 'Head'.

Scribbled over it is Aletris looking at the sign, then turning back towards the viewer (presumably her boyfriend, Jasper) with a wicked grin on her face.

'What about Jasper's PoV' I'm asked in DMs- (In Danger But Horny)

Two headshots of Jasper, clearly meant to be side by side of the above image. The first shows him with a tight, but fumbling, lipped expression with an arrow pointing to him that says 'Trying to not be the one who says it'

The second, he's only *slightly* taken off guard, with a toothy half smile and a small annotation that reads 'Do we at least get 'ta get somewhere private-like, babe?'

Berserker

Pach Fucking Loves Flat Lights. A simple pose of Aletris, weapons drawn and almost neutral at her side, with bright blue lights both behind and in front of her, except for the top of her face which is obscured and a prominent red light across her mouth, showing her teeth.

The Intimacy of Teeth

Aletris and Jasper against an orange backdrop. He holds her up in his arms against him, his teeth poised against her neck as she tangles her fingers in his hair, pulling him into her. His own hand cradles the back of her neck, returning the gesture. They are mostly in the dark, besides a bright light across their arms and her waist. They are lit from below by a faint blue light that is the same blue as his Regulator's fainter glow.

#xivwomenweek - an idea I had all the way back when playing the heavensward patches, which I finally cleaned up.

Ysayle and the Word of the Mother are floating in front of the giant crystal, shown in silhouette (Ysayle in blue, Minfilia in pink) and then again as close crops of their faces with details drawn in. Ysayle looks excited, Minfilia looks pained.
Word of the Mother: Oh, child of Hydaelyn… How I have let you down. I wish I could have met you.
Ysayle: Mothercrystal… You are meeting me now!
A hazy sepia toned panel of Minfilia in the solar, cut off above her eyes, is inset.
Minfilia: I meant… as myself.

Mom is a busy WoL #FFXIVWrite2026

Everybody else had gone to bed - or at least those who were capable of sleeping beneath a dark sky had. There were many who were still awake in the dark hours, a fearful paranoia hovering over them as they sought solace in others who were also unable to sleep. Many windows had lights still on in them in spite of the occupants slumbering behind them.

It reminded Asteria of the small light that had been left on in her children’s rooms first when they’d started sleeping away from her, and then away from each other, and the noises from outside of the house of the fauna had been scary and unknown. Those little lights had lingered there for several years, until Aletris had decided she was the most brave of them all and didn’t need it and Asteria had found her curled up in her brother’s bed with him the next morning.

They’re fine. Feo Ul says they’re fine. She reminds herself when a small trickle of concern fills her heart - it is a practiced song and dance to worry after them and she can peel back the way her children have grown year after year like the rings of a tree in time with her own woes about them. The worries that linger just beneath the sheer fabric of her daily tasks of saving the world. Worlds.

Gods, there were two now. More than two.

She drags a hand over her face as she pulls the window shut and clicks out her own light. There would be so many problems, one on top of another, to deal with in the morning. If she didn’t go to bed, it would just be one more thing on top of it all.
