It's weird that I don't disappear anymore. I used to just, talk to nobody for 8 months at a time. That was whaat I was used to from early 2017 until December of last year. Still not sure how I manage to keep up semi-regular contact with anyone.

I'm totally opposed to the death penalty on principle. Also on principle, I understand that there are very rare examples of people who are too dangerous on a political basis to be allowed to live - but if you're gonna have to kill people like that, you can't fuck around. Firing squad or nothing.

I have to try real hard not to be an angry, venomous person that feeds off the pain of others, because if I let myself run wild I'd be downright evil. I used to be, I could very easily fall back into being the type of person that threatens rape out of anger. I try not to.

Everything that ICE does, Australia has been doing to asylum seekers for a decade. But nobody talks about it and there is no resistance to it because only 1,000 or so people are ever subjected to it at any given moment, it's exclusively very brown people, and it happens offshore.

But there are, and have been, many thousands of human cultures.
Some of them have norms involving the payment of a life with a life.
