I really don't think cis people understand how pervasive the attempt to remove trans people from public life is, or pay attention to the organizations that have removed us from public life. it's so frustrating sometimes to have this consistent reminder that yeah, we're mostly on our own out here.

Exactly. It also helps that some of them have barely consumed anything Star Wars before starting this podcast, and are clearly not megafans or anything. The others aren't bad either but I think it rlly helps for the tone of the podcast to have a few "interest but pretty new to it all" peeps in there
