Was just taking a break in the sunshine, rereading Calvino's Invisible Cities and "too probable to be real" is my new favourite line to trop re: computable planet stans and AI discourse.

Watched Small Things Like These. A film about complicity then. Does this film's strength lie in keeping it "small"? Just one hand reaching out to help one woman and only because one man had that kind of backstory? Told in subtle tones, does it bring out the cruelty hidden beneath polite society?
