Everyone is devastated. “How is the world like this?” I can’t answer her. Parents who ship their kids out of state to receive what medical professionals say amounts to torture should be jailed. And heavily fined (with all of it going to their LGBTQ+ child).

My teen came home from school rage-crying. A friend of hers — whose parents are unsupportive bigots — had gone to live with “more supportive” grandparents. They’ve just learned she was then shipped to a conversion therapy camp in Nevada.

Seven men at Cornell participated in a multi-hour gang rape of a woman. She reported it, and — Gasp! Horror! They had to write an Essay! Men are so comfortable raping women, that one of the initial rapists sent a message to a group chat inviting his frat bros to rape her as well.
