There's this weird problem folks have where they imagine any marginalized person (by race, class, gender, industry, whatever) who achieves any level of success has a burden to make all the "right" decisions on how to represent themselves and their group and interact with other marginalized people.

Woke up today to the meatball painting over the pulse memorial rainbow crossing. Glad that people are redoing it in chalk. The other two crosswalks in the state are going to get painted over too. It really sucks loving a place where the leaders actively try to erase you.
