Huge release 🌟 And as a bonus, all my plugins now properly support the Sätteri Markdown processor. One last plugin couldn’t support it. Until today 🎉

I've been logging build duration, page count, and other metrics on one of my @astro.build projects for months now. Out of curiosity I charted the results; Astro 7 and the new Rust-based markdown compiler Sätteri had quite an impact on build times! (Note the log scale.)
Screenshot of a page on one of my sites showing build time and some major upgrades (Astro 7, Node 24, etc.). The trend line is heading down even as page count goes up.

I sent a small PR fixing a few bugs in @biomejs.dev's Astro support. This is part of a larger effort this quarter to improve the formatting story of Astro, with more to come 😄

I find Zed's config file to be super annoying to sync across computers. Like, I feel like things like SSH connections, currently selected AI model and profile, etc. should be in some other local only file. It's syncing a SSH connection to the computer I'm SSHing into, that makes no sense!

Bit stupid that you can't detect if a browser *actually* support speculation rules or not @ someone at Chrome There are situations where `HTMLScriptElement.supports('speculationrules')` will return `true`, but the speculation rules are disabled by the browser somehow and won't work.
