My mother texted me saying that the eye drops she has been using after her cataract surgery had steroids and that was causing the tremors. I asked if the doctor said she should stop using them. She hadn't talked to the doctor. She looked it up online. I'm so fucking tired y'all

Woke up to a call from my mother asking me to drive her to the doctor's. She's having weakness and tremors. I already have trouble focusing with just one parent sick. With both sick I'll be barely functioning.

In an effort to combat my general body issues, I've taken to just not wearing clothes at home. Results so far: Mixed success. Sometimes I'm comfortable with myself, other times...not so much. But that's an improvement over the previous status quo. Also far fewer clothes to wash is nice.

I love the Nintendo Warrior/Musou games but having to pay for the definitive edition of Age of Calamity (at a discount, but if I want physical full price?) for improved visuals and a new difficulty mode is not it. Worse since no news about it indicates support for Age of Imprisonment is done.

I think there's something else insidious just under the surface here. School is a place away from the scrutiny of parents where kids can socially transition among trusted friends and peers. The right wants schools to report any gender nonconforming behaviors to parents so they can be punished.

Three years ago, the government passed a mandate stating sex should exclusively be shared between married couples with the exception of one night a year where pre-marital sex is legal and protection is required for 12 hours. All people get a tattoo at the age of 18 that is red when not able to have sex, but turns green when you are married or on the one night the mandate lifts. It blinks red if you go against the mandate (have sex anyway, have unprotected sex, etc.) and transmits your location to the law enforcement branch in charge of these crimes. There is a biological sensor inside that tracks dopamine and if your levels spike at the same time as someone you're physically near, it documents that as a sexual encounter. Masturbation is legal and it is implied that gay sex successfully operates outside of the mandate. There are multiple anti-mandate signs and events shown throughout the movie.
