Hey! Remember when Barr (Bondi) withheld the Mueller (Epstein) documents for weeks so he (she) could mischaracterize what was in the Mueller (Epstein) Report and spin the findings for three weeks and then over-redact them? I sure do!

This video from Portland is a metaphor for what is going on in America. ICE trying so hard to get Americans to cross a line and if they don't, dragging them across the line and violently attacking.

The largest SNAP cuts in history went into effect yesterday, eliminating or drastically cutting food assistance for millions of Americans. And it’s all to pay for more tax cuts that primarily benefit the super-rich. Trickle-down economics isn't just a hoax — it's cruel.

Science is entirely built on trust in expert consensus. Even slightly outside their own expertise, scientiss rely on this kind of trust for all conceptual and experimental progress. The democracy claim isn't even worth rebutting it's so absurd.

Tyrants view educated citizens as their greatest enemy. Slaveholders stopped the enslaved from learning to read. Nazis burned books. Dictators censor media. That’s why Trump is attacking the Dept. of Education, science, and the arts – to prevent us from learning. It's fascism.

The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 called for dismantling the NOAA, which provides warnings of natural disasters, such as the deadly floods in Texas. The irony is that Heritage wanted these cuts because it’s angry that NOAA helps prove the reality of climate change--the thing causing floods.

This is true. Safety-net hospitals in both rural and urban areas are already stretched thin, in part because of the exhaustion and attrition of healthcare workers after COVID. If outpatient Medicaid collapses, the deluge in unreimbursed ER visits and admissions will drown the system.
