Shadow of the Tomb Raider keeps alive my hatred of dealing with human enemies in any Tomb Raider game. Vast improvements over the older games, but I still hate this. The swimming mechanics are peak - especially since she can still swan dive

Watching someone be wrong about a subject you know a lot about. But they don't value your thoughts, and I try not to give unsolicited feedback anyway. I just have to be cool with letting people be wrong. About something that'd be so easy to correct. It'd take like 3 seconds... breathing exercises.

Yep. And business people don't want that. They wanna turn everything into the McDonalds model where the work is rote, and the employees are cheap and replaceable. I would say "that's not good for something like games" but tbh it's not good for food companies either.

Going from Lies of P to Silent Hill f is the most frustrating experience. From a fast game that wants you to be aggressive to a slow game where it's better to avoid fighting.

My favorite Lies of P moment is when, after killing his best friend, P has Big Feelings about that and his hair grows. I love that. I think every Soulslike should have a moment where I get vastly hotter half way through. Can we make that a part of the genre?

Experienced gamer rage tonight. Beat Black Rabbit Brotherhood V2 on my new Lies of P playthrough. Switched to DLC and got handed by Tyrannical Predator. 4x. Switched to ~butterfly~ difficulty (vomit) and it STILL chomped me in 2 HITS.

Lots of jobs have a yearly 'eval' system meant to lower your view of your work and value. That's just one example, but there are so many normalized things trying to make you feel bad. Intentionally. So most of us should surround ourselves with people who support and uplift us.

At Estella in my new new Lies of P playthrough. Doing better than my first time for sure. But I miss my completed puppet arm. And my bow. Most of all, I miss being rich. Much like real life, having money makes everything so much easier. Dislike having to farm to get fable catalysts, of all things.
