ya'know what, The OoT remake doesn't actually look that awful! It was a bit jarring at first but after learning about the puppet theater stuff It feels a lot more thought out and intentional than just "What if zelda had unreal engine lighting." It still looks a little strange but I admire the effort

I was reading an author recently talking about how we don't appreciate the way that email isn't siloed. That is, you don't have to be in gmail to talk to someone else in gmail. The norm is so powerful, it'd be unthinkable to change it. All email is interoperable. Social media could've been this way.

I wish the Steam Deck was cheaper and more accessible, mostly in the hopes of it becoming a more appealing platform to target. Part of me deeply yearns for a handheld indie renaissance, esp in a world where rising hardware prices demands performance optimizations targeting lower and lower specs!
