An update for my #believeinfilm gang: I got out and shot a home-rigged roll of Kodak Imagelink HQ microfilm in a medium-format camera, and got it developed in Rodinal 1+100. The photos turned out much better than expected, but film flatness and positioning are what I need to improve *a lot*. 😅

Zenza Bronica GS-1 medium-format camera, 120 film back. Zenzanon-PG 65mm F4 lens.
Kodak Imagelink HQ microfilm expired in 2004; shot at 12 ASA, developed in Rodinal 1+100, 60 min, semi-stand process.
Scanned with a Plustek OpticFilm 8100 scanner, stitched from 3 parts.

No exposure adjustments, left tilted as the film strip moved; just cropped a bit.

Hey #believeinfilm friends, any ideas for what EI to shoot expired Kodak Imagelink HQ microfilm at? The Internet says "the usual" – 12 ASA. The plan is to shoot the test strip in Bronica GS-1 and develop it as Kodak Technical Pan in FX39II. 🤔

Reuse the developer or not? FX-39II diluted to 1+19 is a one-shot developer, but there's 30ml of the stuff in there, and I just hate seeing it go to waste. But I'm not really brave enough to push my luck. 😅 #believeinfilm #filmdevelopment

For this morning mystery, I had a roll of Fomapan 100 to develop. It was shot at "I don't remember anymore, a bit under 100, maybe 80ASA, I guess!". So after contemplating a bit, I decided to just go for what felt okay - 7 min at 21°C. It's a b&w film, how bad can it be!? #believeinfilm

I shot a roll of Fomapan 200 in Zenit 11, with dead light meter. I've developed it in FX-39II, 1+19 dilution, at ~21.5°C. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100. Although the camera isn't without issues, it's working sufficiently well. I'm pretty happy with the results!
