it took a long time to fund my found family and it feels amazing to know that I have it, especially as my sister and her partner are a part of that. my mum has a big family but we're not close. having friends that listen and care and I can do mundane shit with is so peak.

in 2020 i made friends with a group of nd non binary people and the mindset really stuck with me. for the first time i was in a group where people share clothes, food, a bed, everything really, but in a fully platonic way. so often people only share this stuff in the uk if you're dating or related

A fascinating editorial decision from the BBC, to make the headline a scaremongering “AUTISM AND ADHD ARE BEING OVERDIAGNOSED”, and then, four bullet points later, have the author of the report quoted as essentially saying “nah, that’s bullshit, actually”.
