The spin has already started as if our entire city is in chaos. I went from Burbank all the way over to Koreatown on surface streets tonight and jackshit was happening. The CNN coverage makes it look like world war 3 and that’s what Trump wants so he and his fucking goons can come shoot Angelenos.

PDX in Portland had the same operations done to them in 2020. Statues were made when "HS" agents were kidnapping citizens--same masks, no badges, non-identifying vehicles.

I feel like people have amnesia as to what happened in Portland in 2020. DHS drove around abducting people with unmarked vans. The mayor got tear gassed. DHS was always this.

When Republicans voted the last wave of tax cuts for the rich in 2017, quite a few Republicans lost their seat in 2018. We should remind them that we're paying attention and we'll do the very same thing in 2026. They're craven but they're not immovable.

Important -- IF the bill passes the House, the fight's not over. It will then go to the Senate for a vote. If the Senate makes any changes (and they probably will), then whatever they pass will have to go back to the House for another vote. We have a few opportunities to shut this down. And we CAN!

Anyway just a heads up that bags of jello dressed as people might be out at rallies and protests you go to. Their big tactic is to try to get people pushing the camera away and claiming ASSAULT but as it turns out if you instead act that they've injured YOU, you wreck their shot. I would imagine.

A VERY important point -- this bill is not final, not at all. It will now go to the Senate. If the Senate makes changes to the bill (they likely will), it will go back to the House for another vote. The House passed it last night with ONE VOTE. We can stop this. We have to.
