I had no idea that was a thing lol

Eldritch @eldritchelitist.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

It sits with me weird too, but when I get around to listening to it I’m hoping I can filter its themes through a broader lens of “things should and can be better” instead of “things are so much better here in Finland”

Don’t care about this game (especially not after Rockstar’s union busting bullshit) but I have to know: are “DJ Kerry and DJ Tom” just a fun reference, or are THE Kerry and Tom doing VA work here? (Surely it’s the former, but the latter would be amazingly terrible)

Advertisement for GTA6 in-game radio station “The Chamber 106.6”, featuring a cartoon skeleton playing a legally distinct Flying V and wearing leather and spikes. The station description reads: “Crushing metal has landed in Leonida. Jump in the pit with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom for classic metal from the ‘80s and beyond as they channel Leonida’s deep metal roots.”

Hey everyone. It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? We’ve been hard at work on new music, for which mixing / mastering will be completed very soon. In the meantime, our first single is still available for streaming, and is NYP on Bandcamp: centralforce.bandcamp.com/track/lords-...

LMAO one can only dream 😭 We had our first rehearsal of this song last night and we kinda shattered our own expectations, it sounded stage-ready almost right away. It’s gonna kick ass

First Central Force show coming up next month and we’re preparing a few covers, including Keldian’s Requiem for the Light. Keldian is strictly a studio project, and I don’t think their music has EVER been covered live, so we’re stoked to bring this music to the stage at last youtu.be/3KLLJOStFY8?...

Genuinely, this is what bothers me the most, it's fundamentally changed my relationship with art where I'm greeting it initially with skepticism and scrutiny, I never want to feel that way about art.

Kinda crazy how Falconer peaked with their debut and yet still has one of the absolute best discographies in power metal

the RE movie protag is a certified goofball

Resident Evil movie comic
Bryan laughs constantly he lifts up a ladder and chucks it
It hits a zombie dog and he says “stupid dog”
Then he runs away continuing his laughing
He appears out the upper door of a barn, looks down to the far ground, realizing his mistake

I could go on echoing the praise other people have heaped on this film, so instead I’ll drop a hot take and say that it has one of the best jump scares I’ve ever seen. A masterclass in misdirection that got me so fucking good

Eldritch @eldritchelitist.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

You’re gonna have a fucking blast. Curious how you’ll feel about the ending, people’s opinions seem split 50/50 on it but I thought it ruled

Eldritch @eldritchelitist.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I mostly liked Barbarian and *almost* loved Weapons, but I was already seated for whatever Cregger directed next because of the unrealized potential of both films. I just didn’t think his first home run was going to come from the second film reboot of a 30 year old video game franchise

Eldritch @eldritchelitist.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I don’t share my horror opinions on social media often because people tend to be particularly insane about horror takes, but Trevor is right, Resident Evil (2026) is basically perfect for what it is

I remember watching the first episode and thinking “this was made by non-fans misunderstanding WH40K”, but their cringe-ass crowdfunding pitch at the end of it revealed that in fact it’s made by dudes from the worst part of the fandom lmao

Finally returned to this song to finish it up this weekend and it took me strange and delightful places. Bittersweet neoclassical bridge transitions into Children of Bodom style riffs, giving way to DragonForce guitar harmonies. I loved writing this thing so much

Been listening (and listening and listening) to Wraithstorm’s upcoming album, a fantastic love letter to early 00’s melodeath with an identity all its own. Relentlessly addictive, featuring @allieinchains.bsky.social‘s unmistakable songwriting and @218vt.powerupwithpri.de’s best vocal work to date
