Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

Finished Forbidden Solitaire and if I was writing reviews for games still it'd be getting a 7/10. Steam reviews don't leave space for nuance so it got a Yes for recommended. - It's a really good solitaire game from a dev who's perfected the genre - The unique style absolutely nails old PC games

new feature! back on RPS! i don't like deadpool in his contemporary form. i do, however, like deadpool in tokon quite a lot, as someone plugged into the FGC. please give it a read! this was really fun to work on, and i'm grateful to RPS for taking on a kinda niche pitch 💜

When Lucy from Compass Books in Dartmouth, Devon, was victim to shoplifting people told her to install CCTV. Instead she put this ancient book thief curse on the wall from the Monastery of San Pedro in Barcelona so book stealers would be consumed by "the flames of hell" with "their members blasted".

A Curse Against Stealers Of Books
For him that
stealth a book from
this place, let it
change into a
serpent in his hand
and rend him.
Let him be struck with
palsy,
& all his members
blasted.
Let him languish in
pain crying aloud for
mercy, & let there be be no surcease to his
agony till he sink to
dissolution.
Let bookworms gnaw
his entrails in token of
the Worm that diets not,
& when at last he
goeth to his final
punishment, let the
flames of
hell consume him
forever & aye.
(Monastery Of San Pedro, Barcelona.)

I think Thunderbirds might be the best televisual example of what human creativity and collaboration is capable of: a physical effects-laden thrill ride of a show that influenced creatives around the world and still entertained when I was a kid the 90s. All with marionettes. From the 60s. 💙

People really don't realise how much third spaces have just vanished. There was a busy youth centre near here that burnt down and it was replaced with a play park. Great for youngsters but then all the teens/ya ended up just loitering and people complaining.

Finished Victoria of Many Faces vol1 and I'm pleasantly surprised with this one. The art is nice, there's a touch of similarity to SpyXFamily but it's unique enough to be its own thing. The pace is incredibly fast and hopefully it keeps it up for the next book because it's definitely worth a read!

Dandadan is annoying. Was hoping this could be it. Read this and drop it, be done and just pretend it ended. It's always something with this series, if it's not bikini armour it's bs cheesecake crudeness. Then it throws in a badass hook, interesting plot and changes everything up again. Dang it.
