Been trying to play with a tattoo design in Gemini. What a downright TERRIBLE experience. I had some words, and a turtle. I wanted to place the turtle over the words, but it would only mash them together. I asked it why it was crap. Strap in...

EV charging prices on the public network in England is absolutely outrageous. This is not how to stop people using fossil fuels. It needs capping.

A colleague of mine is carrying out some research for the Bristol Council's Adult Social care service and is looking for carers to take part in some 1-2-1 interviews. Any Bristol folks out there who could share this further or take part? #bristol digital.bristol.gov.uk/contact/help...

Wonderful thread🤣! Especially the conversation between two commenters on the orientation of sharks and water in relation to being down under, or half way. Love it.

Why are we supposed to be impressed that a robot beat Bolt's running record? There are millions of machines that can go faster than any human alive. There's so many of these machines, the traffic they cause frequently keeps them from moving at all. Where's the "reverse climate change" machine?

#NathanCofnas does represent history of racist eugenics well in that lying, useless ‘research’ is how #eugenics has always worked Burt was asked for his ‘research’ data by Harvard but said his assistants had it all and they had emigrated without leaving forwarding addresses It’s all racist lies

A chapter title slide that reads "Chapter 4: Risk" in large neon green text over a black-and-white aerial cloudscape, with a small green "11" above the title and a stacked "tSGS" logo at the bottom-right.

if you didn’t write it… you didn’t write it no, using an llm to “draft” for you is not writing it writers write: that’s one of the four noble truths for writers if you don’t write, you’re not a writer it’s really that simple no wriggling, hairsplitting, whining argument will change that
