WTF?!? Border Czar Tom Homan claimed that ICE and Border Patrol agents don’t need probable cause to detain people they suspect are undocumented, saying they can do so based on factors like physical appearance. This is straight-up racial profiling, not law enforcement.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE. This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined. It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

What more can I do?
All of this pain, this suffering
And for what?
“Self defense! Self defense!” the aggressors cry
Starving children, burning schools,
an entire people being erased
And the world watches.
Mothers beg, children cry, fathers weep.
No milk for babies as they shrink ever smaller.
But an abundance of food, medicine, water
lies just out of reach, held hostage
by those who rejoice at this devastation.
Those who could stop this hell, they do nothing.
They side with the beasts of war, of desecration.
Around the world, we SCREAM,
demanding an end to these atrocities
but our cries mean nothing to the powerful.
We beg. Demand. Scream. Protest. Give.
We who care, who love, will not be silent.
But still, it is never enough.
Their blood still flows through the land.
What more can we do?

They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida. If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.
