Realized this was sitting in my drafts but ive been trying to figure out how Chromia would work as a puppet seeing as his head is all eyeball and this is both the best and worst idea thats spawned from that

A set of head sketches for an eyeball headed muppet, left is fully closed, middle is part open, right is fully open. The split acting as both mouth and eyelid

Make it anyway. What should matter is if YOU like it and learning from the parts you dont. Be open to criticism yeah but in the end its your art, not theirs.

I find it really funny that after all the games are ignored its just a bunch of "yes this is how its good please trust" with the funniest one (to me) being the "lesson" on making a game for tiktok virality, which sure is a string of words they could use.

I was fixing my old controller because it had nasty stick drift and had to find a way to get a light into possibly the WORST part of it to find a ribbon cable. But i fixed it and dont have to get a new one so im happy.

A desk with a VR Quest 2 controller popped open on it, around is various tools, a water bottle and most importantly, a wooden hand being used to hold a flashlight because my eyes hurt trying to find a black cable on a black circuit board

Saying it for maybe the 50th time: Do not accuse someone of using AI unless you have ABSOLUTELY AIRTIGHT proof, because if not, you're just adding to the paranoia and causing stress for hard-working artists. And yes, going onto social media and going 'Hrrm, I've no proof, but...' is an accusation.

Netherlands Privacy + Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP), recommends that users opt out of Twitch's AI training with Amazon, calling it "very risky". www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/en/current/a...

AP advises Twitch users: opt out from sharing data with Amazon AI
20 August 2026
Theme: Personal data on the Internet
The streaming platform Twitch announced that Amazon is using Twitch users’ personal data to train AI models. Users who do not want Amazon to use their streams, images and other personal data can now opt out from this feature. The Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP), the Dutch data protection authority, is urging people to do so.

Twitch is an online video streaming platform and a subsidiary of Amazon. People mainly use it to live-stream the video games they are playing, whilst being on camera themselves as well. Other people can watch and chat with each other. The AP is concerned about Amazon using user data to train AI models.

Twitch now uses your channel to train generative AI by default. You can opt out of some training here: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...

Training for Generative AI

Allow your channel content to train generative AI content models at Amazon. Turning this off does not opt you out of Twitch and Amazon using your channel content for other purposes described in the Twitch Privacy Notice, including using AI-supported Twitch features that benefit the community by facilitating streamer growth and monetization (such as real-time sponsorship campaign assistance), viewer discovery (such as recommendations), and community safety (such as AutoMod). Code feels like an art (to me) the same way writing is. Like you can tell when both are bad but nobody thinks about it when its good. Id rather know the code was done by someone passionate about it and not the, I guess, "absolue global average" that leads to unoptimized buggy messes.

Being anti-AI isn't enough. You should be pro-art, pro-artist, pro-writer, pro-worker. Don't expend all your energy tearing people down. Spend it lifting people up instead. Make their voices so loud, their art so visible, it drowns out the slop.

⚠️ STRIPE users ⚠️ Stripe is automatically enrolling free users of their fraud protection program into a paid tier. Free users have to manually go into their accounts and change to a "true free" version.

Email from the payment processor Stripe reading: New Stripe Radar plans and pricing

As fraud on the internet has accelerated over the past few years, we've been rapidly adding to Radar, our fraud prevention product. Last year, we blocked $110B in fraud and shipped dozens of new features. With so much new functionality, we're introducing four tiers—Lite, Standard, Plus, and Pro—and updating pricing.

Email continued: What this means for you

The version of Radar you've been using is closest to Standard, and you've been receiving it for free. Starting today, you'll receive a free trial of Radar Standard, which now includes broad protection across all payment methods, along with fraud analytics. After the trial ends on January 22, 2027, you'll automatically continue on Radar Standard and be charged $0.05 per screened transaction.

If you prefer to continue receiving fraud protection for free, you can switch to Radar Lite in one click at any time from the Dashboard. Radar Lite provides essential fraud protection for card payments, powered by Stripe's industry-leading AI models trained on more than $1.9T in annual payment volume. Radar Lite will be included at no additional cost with your payment processing.

Chromia, an eyeball headed guy in a hoodie with his head really squished and kind of squinting
