I'm saying: I live on this planet, and remember enough real events to be able to predict consequences when a more extreme version of them happens. And unless we prevent this, we're in trouble. The best way to prevent it is to make it too commercially expensive. Tax does that. Tax the compute.

Maybe this will change. We should hope for it and press for it. But at least, or so I believe, we now have a Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary who don't seem to want the world to become an even crueller, harsher, more dangerous place than it is already. And that's a welcome shift.

Two tier policing. Victoria Thomas Bowen, who chucked a milkshake at Farage, was given a 13-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months; had to pay him £150 compensation; had to complete 120 hours of unpaid work and pay £450 in court costs. It was nowhere near the level of violence of this assault.
