He wasn’t seeing Lily before the split and though I think it’s unnaturally quick if he’s paying into the house why should Fallon have occupancy? They both irritate me. #TheArchers Harrison is absolutely right, He pays most of the bills why shouldn’t he live in the house. Fallon’s mother has thrown him out what else was he meant to do. Poor Usha. #TheArchers I think Harrison is a bit of a waste of space but I think he’s quite a decent bloke who wants a family. Fallon is someone I’ve never warmed to, it’s always about her whatever is happening, for all her free spiritness she quite conventional and Harrison just wants to take care of people. #TheArchers I think Harrison is acting badly but Fallon forced that situation and she was the one that called time on the marriage. I think she acted badly here, asking questions she didn’t really want to know the answer to. #TheArchers Friendships with relatives are different and Poppy is her cousin so also tainted by the Grundy’s Cold Comfort Farm vibes. #TheArchers Interesting she doesn’t have any close friends who are girls. Do they judge her on what she wears and perceived poverty. Girls can be savage. #TheArchers I quite enjoy hearing about their life at school. #TheArchers I was wondering if it was that. George has hinted school life was tough with people taunting him about his mother marrying his uncle and living in a mobile home. Kids can be very aware of class and social hierarchy. #TheArchers I do but then during the year there’s usually a note in the staff room at school asking for shoe boxes for some project or other so I then off load them. #TheArchers Carol is so difficult to help, even when Anna comes running she’s not welcomed. In the end though she is next of kin and unless one of them removes Anna’s name off everything official she’s the one who will get the emergency call. #TheArchers If he doesn’t get his act together and produce some children his nephews or nieces might inherit. #TheArchers Harrison will have lots of babies with Lily and fill the rooms of Lower Loxley with children with flat vowels. #TheArchers I can’t believe one bad review has caused this much trouble, if I’m looking for a B&B I assume if there is only one really negative review and it’s a personal attack then the guest was probably a pain in the neck, looking for faults and causing trouble. #TheArchers Peggy boycotted it when there was a woman vicar, Shula boycotted it because of a Hindu statue in the vicarage, Peggy left again because she didn’t get her ridiculous window and the whole family boycotted it when Alan was going to baptise a dying man. They are a horribly judgemental bunch #TheArchers Henry’s in danger of being protected from the realities of life by his family. It is totally understandable after his traumatic start in life but they are not doing him any favours, if he can’t cope with being shouted at and goes out of his way to avoid confrontation he needs counselling #TheArchers But of course their family is more important than anyone else’s. For all Pat’s high ideals she can be the most high handed of them all. #TheArchers I should think Alan has had his fill of Peggy’s family treating him like an employee. Peggy and her stupid window idea, Kate refusing to let him do Peggy’s funeral and everyone telling him who he can and can’t baptise. The entitlement of them is astonishing. #TheArchers Go Alan. Pat is so sanctimonious and Henry said he didn’t want anyone to talk to Alan. She always knows better. #TheArchers Henry has a whole farm to play cricket on and surely they can use the outfield of the cricket pitch. It was a weird place to choose but 15 year olds often lack logical thinking. #TheArchers I have sympathy with Alan. As someone who has lived in clergy housing most of my life getting anything done is a lot of admin. You can’t just book a glazier it has to go through several people to get approval for it to be replaced. It can be painful. #TheArchers I don’t think Henry reacts well to men shouting at him and I suspect this is some of the trauma he experienced with Rob coming out. I don’t believe he can be completely unscathed by his early experiences. #TheArchers
