How far are you willing to go for your art?

Scenarios for 1 Keeper and 1 Player are a rarity, which is a shame, because 1 on 1 roleplaying sessions can be quite intense and rewarding.

Blank Canvas from Steve Anderson is a gem among this kind of duet-style scenarios for several reasons.

It can naturally be played on its own and comes with 3 different pre-generated characters, but where it would really shine is as a character creation/development scenario for an Investigator who wants to be an artist/dilettante. More scenarios for different archetypes in this vein would be awesome. (hint hint Steve)

Furthermore, the scenario is written with the option of running it in either the 1920s, 1950s, or 1980s, which is a nice touch.

The story and antagonist are well written, it has great Keeper tips, and it would be perfect for a daring novice Keeper to cut their teeth on!

It would also serve as an amazing introduction to roleplaying games for the significant other in your life, who might be reluctant to try a full-blown session with veteran roleplayers.

With a cost of $4.99 for 34 pages, a new spell, and new Mythos tomes, it's a bargain for a great evening of very personal horror and comes with our highest recommendation.
