The next five graphs are even less convincing, and the argumentation becomes even weaker. It was almost impossible for me to imagine how a seemingly intelligent person could have written it—but I found a secret clue buried in the text itself.

A.I. has the potential to enhance the way we live in the same way. It saved me and my colleague, Will McGrew, many hours of prowling the internet to research this essay. That left us with time to do other tasks.

And then there's ones where it's both AI and the cellphone they're pushing. This one is again trying to market itself as helping the elderly, where I think it's so kids will buy this rather than spend time with them. Also, this retirement community should have the calendar online to subscribe to.

And that is part of a trend of them trying to appear useful to marginalized groups, such as giving elderly women something that will talk with them, since who else will. Here's another one, where now you're an ableist asshole if you're against AI (again this airs as an edited down portion).

This is a more recent commercial that is currently airing, but as edited down portions, like one will be just the woman saying she's giving a lecture and needs the AI to tell her if there are any delays on her route or if it will rain. In which case I don't trust that person to give a lecture.

This commercial was a very interesting one to me. It openly acknowledges that AI will do bizarrely wrong things. The fix is using their AI that actually works. For booking a restaurant. It's multiple levels off. No one needs an AI for a reservation, and no one regularly has AI bungle this for them.

"In other words, the people who are the most 'polarized' in the U.S. electorate are those who are racist and sexist, and those who oppose racists and sexists."
Screenshot of article which reads: These numbers are relatively similar between Democrats and Repub-
licans, which often leads political pundits to claim this is more evidence
of “polarization,” and that both sides are equally to blame. However,
a closer look tells a more interesting story. The people who are most
likely to vilify and dehumanize their partisan opponents are Republicans
who are high in racism and sexism and Democrats who oppose racism
and sexism. The people who are least likely to vilify and dehumanize
their political opponents are Republicans who are low in racism and sex-
ism. One explanation for these patterns is that those Republicans who
are racist and sexist vilify and dehumanize Democrats because they see
the Democratic Party as a party of racial minorities and women; and
Democrats who score low in racism and sexism will vilify and dehu-
manize Republicans because they consider Republicans to be racist and
sexist. In other words, the people who are the most “polarized” in the
U.S. electorate are those who are racist and sexist, and those who op-
pose racists and sexists.

A little interesting to me that they have this effusive praise for Watson, and yet he's not the one they're bringing out to sit in with them on the post game chat. They had on Monken instead, which is that the first time they've brought out a coach?

By "both happened" do you mean the allegations are real (the part that you're not clear on and why everyone thinks you're an asshole), and the owner used them against Watson? As in, the Texans knew what was going on and stopped protecting him/leaked things when they wanted to teach him a lesson?

God Save Colleen, Butternut Sage Ravioli with Dijon Candied Walnuts.

Longtime fans of the blog may notice that this is the first recipe I’ve featured that calls for sage! For years, I’ve been gesturing at a vague distaste for sage. (For my White Bean Soup with Brown Sugar Garlic Bread, I said, “Those with a naive palate could also add some sage, and perhaps later, Brad will ask you on a drive to Lover’s Lane.” How unspeakably rude!) You see, it’s time I come clean. It’s my husband who doesn’t like it. Actually, it’s my husband who claims he doesn’t like it.

His list of professed dislikes is infinitely long and includes spinach, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, paprika, carrot, curry powder, corn, avocado, fish, tarragon, oregano, broccoli, and much, much more. As a food lover, it has been difficult to work within his parameters, but any good chef loves a challenge. And though it stings my heart, every meal…

ADS: Paper money being KILLED in 4 nights.

Drinking trick. Appearance of amazing drinking.

Stop squeezing your bags! Gentle munch dot com. sloughed off into the garbage is a chance to try anew.

Imagine my surprise, then, when a few weeks ago, while out to lunch with his boss, I watched my husband happily eat a Cobb salad.

Having chosen the venue, the boss, a domineering galoot, ordered for the table. Tomato! Lettuce! Boiled egg! Some of my husband’s most reviled things, I thought. But I observed as he cleaned his plate with a smile, and as he dutifully laughed at the horrid oaf’s unrepeatable jokes.

Picture a hopelessly picky unitiate, ducking under the napkin to come face to face with an ortolan! The disgust of such a person does not begin to rival what I felt that afternoon. I said nothing of the incident. But I have been running my own set of private experiments.

The trouble, I realized, often begins when my husband asks me what’s in our meal, before even taking the first bite. Chefs delight in relaying the provenance of a dish! The preparation! The technique! But he has been using this all the while to torture me. To latch onto one dash of an herb, as a frustrated cop might a pinch of jaywalking, to sentence the whole dish to the bin.

So I have been making fabulous, decadent meals, and lying about…

what’s inside. I’ve been preparing whatever my heart desires, but when asked, making sure to stick to only to those ingredients which I know are pre-approved. Curries! Gazpachos! Do you know I made a haddock stew and said it was chicken? All lustily consumed as if he‘d never eaten in his life. How could I have ever married this inattentive rube, who would rather eat half the ingredients of two “Woppers Junior” than an artfully composed meal made by his meticulous wife?

Now, I know my husband has been lying about his distastes to anguish and vex me, so he’d have found some objections sooner or later. For this reason, I built in release valves at regular intervals. I cooked some of his favorite things—things that he frequently requests and adores, and said I’d experimented with a grating of nutmeg or a sprig of sage. (He hates sage most of all.) So he got to criticize me, and I got to watch him sadly get up, and with legs animated by pride, fight through the quicksand of our kitchen to set his full plate back on the counter.

Do not despair, foodies! Myself, my friends, and our neighbors have frequently eaten well due to this hideous habit of his. Though he does sometimes like to employ the trashcan for more severe offenses, he couldn’t bring himself to scrape his beloved meatballs away, as if his mind was hoping it would change itself.

QUICK!!
Move away from this geographic feature known for spewing who knows what. Then came today’s recipe, my butternut squash and sage ravioli with candied dijon walnuts, made just last night. A quick one, as I wanted to leave time for quite an after dinner speech.

Plates licked clean, I began coyly. “I’m surprised you liked that so much. It had quite a bit of sage in it.” He sputtered. I rose.

“Because of me, your life has been full of all good things. Your heart full of love, your home full of children’s laughter, your table full of friends, and for the past two weeks, your belly full of sage! And mushrooms! And everything that makes life worth living!”

He slept at a hotel last night. His boss wouldn’t answer his calls.

I dedicate this recipe to CarolFromBristol who scolded me months ago for referring to my Crispy Duck with Black Cherry Gastrique as life-changing. “please. a recipecan never change you[sic] life,” you said.

Carol, a recipe can make you cry. A recipe can put hair on your chest. A recipe can lift your feet off the ground. A recipe can make your cat leave home and a different one can make it come back. A recipe can take an actor to bed. A recipe can change your life.

Great piece, especially this part.
Screenshot of segment of the article shared in the quoted post that reads:

"But as his media profile expands, these incidents matter *more* than they did when he was only playing. At some level, his primary job is to play football; relay the play in the huddle, call audibles at the line, read defenses after the snap and deliver the ball to the intended receiver.

It’s a job that comes with attention and a public profile, but it is not fundamentally reliant on whether he is a good role model. In the media, however, his job *is* his personality. He is cast as likable and approachable and so our understanding of his behavior becomes ever more important.

And while Winston has never been charged with crimes over the allegations against him, he has never expressed sympathy for the ordeal Kinsman went through – the death threats and harassment she endured. In fact, the one person he seems most worried about is someone else accused of sexual assault."

I want points per first down to supplant points per reception. And return yards should be scored. Helps with deep leagues making fringe guys more viable. And play IDP and reward points to anyone making a tackle. Again, it helps fringe guys on special teams and is nice to see after a turnover.

A man stands at the ticket counter of a movie theater. An employee asks if he’d like to upgrade his ticket. “Would you like to upgrade to Cinema VIP? You can pause the film for bathroom breaks.” Our man is intrigued by the offer. Next slide. Inside the movie theater. The film has been paused and the movie screen lets the audience know: “PAUSED FOR VIP.” Our man stands at the center of the theater with his hands raised and a VIP badge attached to a lanyard around his neck. He’s part of the Cinema VIP program but at what cost? The other patrons have become increasingly upset with the pauses. A chorus of angry voices rain down on the VIP from around the theater. “Sit down, toilet boy,” one woman yells. She’s had enough of his potty breaks. “Oh COME on.” “Get this guy outta here.” “He ruined the trailers, too.” “Take his badge.” “3 times?!” “Put a diaper on.”

It is a cartoon mouse, like Jerry from Tom and Jerry, shaped like a wedge of cheese presumably because it has eaten a wedge of cheese. The mouse has Elizabeth Holmes' face. The mouse is saying "Why would I deceive you? There's no reason for me to do that."Nathan Fielder, looking into a fridge where the mouse has eaten a cheese, says skeptically "Okay. Alright."
