Yesterday, my spouse, my son, and I summitted Mt St Helens. I was objectively hard. We made it up in ok time, but the descent was brutal and slooow. My knees didn't hurt but I'm so afraid of a new injuru that I overcompensate. Full disclosure: I edited but the AI helped me write the alt text.

I do not mourn Lindsay Graham. I did feel sadness, not for him, but about how being a Republican obliterated the man who, at 21, took guardianship and cared for his 13 yo sister after their parents both died in short succession. He was a decent human being at one point, before selling his soul.

Oh such fun. Doing the Seattle (Half) Marathon, supposedly. Start: Seward Park. Just found out that: there is no bus that gets you there in time for the start. Lake Washington Blvd is closed to traffic. The course runs through the parking lots in the park (if you can even drive there.)

I have to say.... I love how our eye doctor and his shop are still all in KN95 masks, require masking from patients, take precautions for sterilization of office and the frames people use, AND offer 'doors are locked, nobody but you and staff' appointments for high-risk people.
