For my first xiv character, I was trying to emulate the little lizards that would act like tough shit despite being smaller than a finger—hence, min height fem ra. For my actual WoL, he is a Moonkeeper/Duskwight in lore because of how underrepresented they are in canon. It felt right lol

Discomfort is an essential part of growth and wouldn’t it be so embarrassing to be the exact same person thirty years from now, in a totally different world, because you were so averse to discomfort?

Once you start noticing how the incapacity to handle discomfort affects how people live their lives it's actually pretty shocking how it ruins pretty much every conceivable aspect of existence. Interpersonal relationships, romantic and platonic. Career and education opportunities. Your politics Your willingness to go anywhere. The kind of food you eat. The kind of art you expose yourself to and your ability to read it. It's never just one thing, it touches everything, and once you notice it it's like suddenly being able to see germs or something. Just this horrific catastrophe people look at you askance for screaming about. As I grow older and see what became of my friends and peers who could not learn to handle discomfort, the more I'm like. This is a genuine societal issue

Increasing my discomfort tolerance has also been one of the greatest assets to improving my mental health.

The different types of humans on Eorzea are actually a lot more varied from one another than what we see in game: one example being Duskwight, who are bioluminescent.

Crazy choices here but either Sidurgu (+Rielle!) or Ryne for real. I think Sidurgu would be funny because he would objectively hate it, yet it’s the exact kind of environment that Rielle would thrive in. Plus.. the twins need another friend their age lol

Adhara is biromantic and demisexual, Arashi is demiromantic and bisexual! Although I’m not sure what to categorize him as, there’s also a bit of genderqueer-ness going on with Adhara. (He/They, does not consider himself in line with being completely a man but rather something else)

Touchstarved x Touchy-feely is a nice dynamic but Touchstarved x Touchstarved where both are too disconnected from the idea of physical contact yet the faintest hint of warmth is enough to create yearning, that then becomes craving and ticks like a timebomb waiting to be found just hits different

In the Western Highlands, Sidurgu looms over the body of Fray after the Temple Knights tossed him over the edge of the Ishgardian walls. At his side, a ffxiv OC kneels, similarly mourning their lost companion.

Another shot of Sidurgu and his companion, this time showing Fray's face as he lay there motionless.

A final shot of the trio, this time from overhead. Sidurgu is close to Fray and possibly weeping over his body.
