Dare I say better than Requiem in terms of overall quality, but Capcom does spoil us with frequent releases.

Understandable. I still haven't properly played 6 either. 7 would be a good re-starting point. As most stand alone on their own, so does that one, and it was a return to form and the first title that was a major success for the series. It was already good, 8 takes it and makes it even better.

I have high hopes for AC6 emulation, as it already ran at decent speed years ago, but with visual glitches. AC7 is a good middle ground between this and 6 if you want to experience something newer.

I'm surprised, I recall that it's one of the most beloved jRPGs in Japan, hence the upcoming remaster. I can see why the peak soul voice acting severely compromised the experience, but I find it as charming as Resident Evil 1.
