Half of Obama's own party threw a tantrum over his novel "don't do stupid shit" doctrine in relation to Iran. Trump then immediately tore the JCPOA up to little resistance. The next president did next to nothing to try and revive it and instead spent 3 years begging Saudi to be friends with Israel.

No other industry has ever framed any regulation in terms of "stop", "pause", or "slow down". Those are insane ways to consider any form of policy. Policy should prevent bad outcomes and encourage good ones, it is never about some specific speed.

Yes, BUT: What little the court did reveal in its opinion indicates a possible split within the majority. Brown (presumably Kagan and Sotomayor too) believe fed gov is unlikely to succeed on merits. Kavanaugh (possible others) think USPS rule could be legal but no reason to rush it in 2026.
